Chardonnay Nature 2017, Tetramythos Winery

Date Tasted: /2021

The clearness and preciseness one can find in Tetramythos wines is unusual. Always positive surprises me, and I always admire the results. Proud that those wines are produced in Greece.

Appearance: The colour is deep lemon.

Nose: It has a unique aromatic profile that slowly is developed from minute to minute. It starts with fresh cut apricot and nectarine, more white blossoms, and lemon.

Palate: The sharp acidity does not give any chance to be misleading. Some vanilla notes make it even more enjoyable. Full body with intensity and long lemon aftertaste.

Drink or Hold: It is perfect now, yet leave a case in the cellar for 6-10 years.

Food Pairing: Any prime fish will be an excellent partner, beef tartare and ceviche versions.
