Curioso 2019, Ponte Lungo

Curioso 2019, Ponte Lungo

Date Tasted: 5/2022

The attractive price and easy-going character make this wine very popular among Vivino users, especially in the German market and a good choice for the daily table. Plus, it has all the virtues of Sangiovese.

Appearance: Deep ruby colour.

Nose: It has an attractive aromatic profile based on fresh yet ripe red berries. The layer of spices like liquorice, nutmeg, and pepper add depth with a trace of graphite.

Palate: It is palatable with medium silky tannins, refreshing acidity and sweet red fruit flavours. It is a medium-bodied wine with a medium-length aftertaste.

Drink: No reason for cellaring.

Food Pairing: Salami and cheese or light pasta versions.
