Milia 2015, Tetramythos Winery

Date Tasted: 8/2021

The words depth, focus and roundness are enough to describe that truly marvellous wine.

Appearance: Deep shiny ruby.

Nose: It is fresh yet ripe. Blackcurrant, bramble and black cherry are supported by green bell pepper and fennel with tobacco and vanilla undertones. Complex and bright.

Palate: It has volume but no weight. The tannins are high but velvety with high acidity. It has an almost full body with excellent balance and a medium-plus delicious aftertaste.

Drink or Hold: It is excellent now but with a great future.

Food Pairing: Red meat in the oven.
