A beautiful Sunday morning in late September with mild autumn weather, we decided with my daughter to explore a little further the region of Pfalz.

Everyone would love a special Riesling release from a small winery in Baden, and it can age perfectly.

It is so good that after I tasted it, I ordered some bottles directly from the winery.

Montecucco DOCG certainly is not so famous as the neighbour Brunello di Montalcino, but in wine, style is the closest one.

I loved this wine from the first moment I tasted it since the texture and the balance are marvellous and the price.
