Petit Fleur 2019, Parparoussis Winery

Date Tasted: 10/2020

It is not surprising that this wine has become sold out already since April. At the hands of the skilful winemaker Parparoussi, this unique indigenous variety gives approachable wines with a profile that can easily cause nostalgia for Greek summer.

Appearance: The colour is pale salmon.

Nose: It has very charming aromas, ripe yet fresh like acacia, rose, quince, apricot, melon, pineapple and wet wool.

Palate: It is dry with strawberry, mango and kerosene showing up, almost high acidity, light body and medium stone fruits aftertaste.

Drink: Freshness is the advantage, not suitable for ageing.

Food Pairing: Try it on its own, looking at the sunshine, or pair it with a light green salad with stone fruits.
