Date Tasted: 7/2021

That is something you do not expect at this price level. However, the complexity, the finesse, the structure and the persistence one can experience in that wine with just 6€ retail price is ridiculously cheap. It can easily be my daily pleasure!

Appearance: The colour is deep lemon.

Nose: The freshness and ripeness at the same time are so charming. It is from those wines that you do not want to get your nose out of the glass. Honeysuckle, orange zest, apple, passion fruit and that amazing minerality are intense and mind-blowing.

Palate: The balance is incredible. Persistence and complexity make it a winner on the table. The acidity is high and well-integrated, with an almost long aftertaste.

Drink: Some wines are made to deliver pleasure right after the bottling, and Grain Sauvage is one of them.

Food Pairing: It is a wine with a versatile character and can accompany several occasions. Dinner with friends, aperitif, cheese plateau, romantic sunset, seafood or even a whole meal from start to finish!
